Privacy

We hold name, email, invoice text, and device signals needed to run Pay by Jag. Card data stays at Stripe. You can download your account data from /account. Staff can access your workspace as you only to provide support. We do not sell your customer list.

Bank connections and accounting records

If you choose to connect a bank or card account, Stripe Financial Connections asks for your permission to share balances and transactions with Pay by Jag. This includes the financial institution, account type, last four digits, balances, and transaction dates, amounts, descriptions, and status. Bank sign-in happens in the provider's connection flow. Pay by Jag does not receive your bank password.

We use this information to import accounting activity, help you match payments and payouts, reconcile statements, and prepare reports. The bank connection is read-only and does not authorize Pay by Jag to move money. Files you import can contain the same financial information and are used for the accounting work you request.

Access follows your workspace permissions. People you authorize, including an accountant with a granted accounting role, may view or export the records their access allows. Stripe and its bank-connection providers process the connection under their own privacy terms. See Stripe's privacy policy.

You can disconnect a linked account from Bank connections to stop future synchronization and revoke provider access. Disconnecting does not erase imported transactions, posted journals, reconciliation records, or their audit evidence. These remain part of your workspace's accounting records.
